I love the taste of oysters and they are great in this stuffing. And so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups bread cubes or corn bread cubes
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1-1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 8 ounces oysters and their juices, chopped
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

How To Make oyster stuffing

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg casserole dish lightly w/ cooking spray. In small saucepan, heat milk, butter and oyster liquid until hot.
  • Step 2
    In lg bowl, combine bread cubes, celery, onion, spices and chopped oysters. Add hot liquid to bread mix. Stir to combine.
  • Step 3
    Spoon mix into casserole dish. Bake 1 hr.
