Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    old bay seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 16 c
    water
  • 1 can(s)
    beer
  • 8 medium
    red potatoes, quartered
  • 2 large
    sweet onions, cut in wedges
  • 2 lb
    smoked sausage, cut in 2" lengths
  • 8
    ears corn, cut in half
  • 4 lb
    large shrimp in shells

How to Make Old Bay Shrimp Fest

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring old bay, salt, water, and beer to boil in 8-12 qt pot on high heat.
  2. Add potatoes and onions. Cook 8 min. Add sausage; cook 5 min. Add corn; cook 7 min. Add shrimp in shells; cook 4 min or until shrimp turn pink.
  3. Drain liquid. Pour contents in several large bowls, shallow pails, or mound on a paper covered picnic table. Sprinkle with additional old bay if desired.
