Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds salted drum or seal mullet
- 4 medium potatoes, irish
- 2 large onions, diced
- 3 slices salt pork
- - salt and pepper
- 2 quarts water or to cover
How To Make minced fish

Step 1Soak salted fish overnight; changing water several times. Boil fish and flake.

Step 2Fry-out fat pork in a cast iron Dutch oven. Peel and wash potatoes and onions; dice. Place in pot with fat pork grease; add water to cover, and salt and pepper. Boil until potatoes are soft. Add 3 cups flaked fish. Cook about 30 minutes or until almost dry. Serve with fried cornbread.
