creamy tuna over tomatoes
This a good quick and inexpensive meal. My mother-in-law used to fix this and it is really good. I don't know anyone else that makes it.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup bacon grease
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 can tuna drained
- 3-4 - fresh tomatoes sliced thick
How To Make creamy tuna over tomatoes

Step 1Heat bacon grease in a cast iron skillet. Add the flour and stir until smooth and starts to bubble about 1 minute

Step 2Add the warm milk slowly and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and stir, until thickened

Step 3Stir in the salt. pepper, and tuna

Step 4Place sliced tomatoes on your plate and cover with gravy like you would for biscuits and gravy
