Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed or finely chopped
  • 1 - orange, grated zest only
  • 1 cup orange juice (also use juice from orange)
  • 3 sprigs rosemary (leaves finely chopped)
  • pinch pepper

How To Make marinated skewered shrimp

  • Step 1
    Combine olive oil, garlic, orange zest and juice, rosemary and pepper to taste; add shrimp and cover with marinade.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    Grill shrimp over low coals or under broiler 4\" from source of heat, until golden, 4-5 minutes, turning once.
  • Step 4
    NOTE: 6 Boneless chicken breasts can be used instead of shrimp in this recipe.
