linguine and clams

Ingredients
- 12 ounces linguini
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 can 15 ounce diced tomatoes
- 2 cans 6,5 ounce clams or 1/2 pound small shrimp or both
- 1/2 cup fresh flat leaf chopped parsley
- cup baby spinach
- 2 - grated parmesan cheese
How To Make linguine and clams

Step 1Cook pasta according to package directions..drain and return to potmmIn a large skillet heat the oil, garlic and crushed pepper flakes, stirring occasionally about 3 minutes.

Step 2Add the tomatoes and wine along with the clams and simmer stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Stir in the parsley and spinach and shrimp if using...toss pasta. psrsley, spinach into the tomato mixture...serve with grated parmesam cheese sprinkled over top. garlic bread goes well with this dish.

Step 3I omitted the wine 1 cup of white wine optional.
