Ingredients

  • 3/4 tsp
    fresh gingerroot, peeled and minced
  • 1 clove
    garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    grated lemon rind
  • 1 tsp
    honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    fresh italian parsley, chopped
  • 10 oz
    (2 steaks) fresh salmon (or use 2 filets)

How to Make Lemon Ginger Salmon for Two

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In small bowl, mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, lemon rind, honey and fresh herbs.
  3. Place fillets in shallow baking dish and spoon some herb mixture on top of each fillet. Drizzle any liquid accumulated in bowl over fillets. Allow to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  4. Bake, uncovered until salmon turns opaque, about 15 minutes.
  5. Place fillets on plates and drizzle any liquid in baking dish over them.
