Decided to make this just once to try then my kids asked for it again did some tweeking the second time and now they cant get enough

Ingredients For italian broiled tilapia

  • 4 slice
    tilapia
  • 1 1/2 c
    mayo
  • 2 md
    lemons
  • 4 pinch
    cracked black pepper
  • 2 dash
    sea salt
  • 1/2 pkg
    italian dressing mix
  • 1 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 1/2 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 4 Tbsp
    panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil

How To Make italian broiled tilapia

    Line a baking pan with foil and use your fav cooking spray. Put your broiler on high. Lay the fish in the dish use some of the salt and pepper and season both sides of the fish and also use one lemon and sqweeze on the fish.

    Put the fish in the broiler just for about 5mins each side just until the fish strarts to turn color. You will have to keep a close eye on the fish not to cook the fish all the way through.

    Then you can take the fish out. And make your topping put the mayo have the pakage of italian dressing seasons the grated cheese other lemon squeezed and ground red pepper. If you need a little dash of pepper go ahead and add some. Put genorsly over the fish. In a medium frying pan put the two tablespoons of oil on high heat add panko until light golden brown. Sprinkle onto fish. Then put fish back into the broiler until top has a nice color and fish is cooked all the way. You cantell when the fish will seperate with ease with a fork.
