grilled teriyaki salmon steak

Found this at Dierbergs, I am not a big fan of salmon. My wife loves salmon and i love to grill. So it is the best of boath worlds. I did add a thing or 2 over time.

Ingredients

  • 4 - salmon, steaks,1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons real butter
  • 1 clove garlic,minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger,minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion,minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, light

How To Make grilled teriyaki salmon steak

  • Step 1
    Rince and pat dry fish steaks.Place in a plastic gal, bag. In a mixing bowl mix teriyaki sause,onion,gingerand 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. Mix together and pour over fish steaks,Seal bag turn to coat fish.Refrigerate from 1 to 24 hours. The longer the better turning often.
  • Step 2
    In a small pan melt butter stir in garlic.. remove fish from bag. Oil grids on grill(oil real well) heat grill to med-hot,replace grids on grill. Place steaks on grill.brush steaks with garlic butter. Grill for 5 min.Turn brush with remaning garlic butter,grill 5-6min more....Injoy with a salaid..
