Quick and easy recipe for the grill! I can usually find swordfish steaks at the fish market reasonably priced, so this is often done at my house.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 6 swordfish steaks (6 ounces each, 3/4 inch thick)

How To Make grilled swordfish with dill-mustard sauce

  • Step 1
    Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the mustard and the next 4 ingredients. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Grill the steaks covered, over hot coals (400 to 500 degrees F) for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Baste the fish frequently with the butter mixture while the fish is grilling.
