Ingredients
- FOR THE FISH
- 4 - fish steaks, 4 ounces each, 3/4-inch thick (such as halibut)
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup beer
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- SALSA
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup purple onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons green chiles, chopped
- 3 dashes hot sauce
How To Make grilled fish mexicana with salsa

Step 1Place the fish steaks in a shallow dish.

Step 2Combine the lime juice and the next 7 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Pour the marinade mixture over the fish; cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning once.

Step 3Remove the fish from the marinade, reserving the marinade.

Step 4Grill, covered, over medium-hot coals (350 to 400) for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Serve with the salsa.

Step 5Salsa: Combine all salsa ingredients; chill 1 hour.
