I found this recipe on a box of mjb rice in 1980. it is a keeper for sure. our family will eat their fish with this. xoxooxox :)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fish fillets
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large onion, sliced thin
  • 1 cup - mushrooms fresh or canned
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream

How To Make fisherman stroganoff

  • Step 1
    Cut fish into bite size pieces. In skillet, saute onions and mushrooms in butter till soft. remove from pan. Add fish and saute till done just a few minutes. Add back the onions and mushrooms to skillet.
  • Step 2
    Combine lime juice, salt,worstershire sauce,mustard, and sour cream. Stir into fish mixture. heat thru and serve over rice. . I use the long grain and wild rice. it goes with it perfect, as does plain. xoxoxo
