fish cakes
(1 RATING)
Grew up on these, stole the recipe from my Gran n added to it, she grew up thru the depression n war on these. the capsicum n sweet chilli sauce is optional for a bit more taste to them. Great camp food, as youngens all we took camping was a sack of spuds, sack of onions, s n p n oil, would catch the fish along the way. Any type of fish will do, even seen my ole Gran make them with sprats (herring) and spikeys ( spiny dog fish ). Cooks well on a bbq. Great with a fresh salad or as a burger pattie. Complete meal.
