I always search for new recipes with fish. I have my family eat seafood at least once a week. My kids don't like to eat fish, but they love this recipe.I found this recipe in a very old cookbook.I hope your family will enjoy it too.

fish fillets of your choice (perch,cod)
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
3/4 c
sour cream
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Creamy Fish Dish


  • 1Thaw fish fillets, wash ,and drain them on a paper towel. Arrange fillets in a single layer in a 2 qt.shallow baking dish.
  • 2In a saucepan, combine undiluted soup and sour cream;blend thoroughly.Add 3/4 cup cheese;heat over low flame, stirring constantly until cheese melts.
  • 3Spread mixture over the fish.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until fish flakes.
  • 4Sprinkle 1/4 cup remaining cheese;return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.Serve with mashed potatoes or pasta.
