Ingredients
- 1 pound lump crabmeat
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 3 cups panko bread crumbs (divided with 2 cups reserved for coating)
- 2 medium eggs
- 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons seafood seasonings (such as old bay)
- 1 - dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 4 tablespoons butter
- SAUCE:
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons sun-dried tomato paste
- 1 - minced garlic clove
- - salt & pepper
- - dash of hot pepper sauce
How To Make crab cakes with spicy mayonnaise

Step 1Combine all the ingredients together in large mixing bowl (reserving 2 cups panko crumbs for coating).

Step 2Form mixture into 3 inch patties. In small dish or bowl, place reserved panko crumbs and press each patty into the crumbs to coat outsides of patties.

Step 3Fry in butter (about 2 tbsp.) in large skillet on low until the patties are golden brown and crispy, about 5 to 8 minutes on each side. Place on dish and keep warm.

Step 4SAUCE: Combine all the sauce ingredients in small mixing bowl. Serve over warm crab cakes. 11 points per serving
