I'm starting to like fish more and more now that I realize you can pretty much do anything with it. I liked this a lot when my sister made it recently, hope you do too. I'll post a picture as soon as I make it at home :)

Ingredients

  • 2 - tilapia fillets (about 4 oz each)
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil, light
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder, medium or hot, your choice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, powdered
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest

How To Make citrus chili tilapia

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Step 2
    Place the tilapia fillets in a glass baking dish and rub on all sides with the olive oil.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl, stir together chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cumin.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle the tilapia on both sides with the spice mixture and rub in well, then sprinkle orange zest over top.
  • Step 5
    Bake in preheated oven until the tilapia flakes easily with a fork, about 15 minutes.
