1YOU WILL NEED A 12" CAST IRON SKILLET.
iF USING FROZEN FISH.THAAW,RINSE,AND PAT DRY.cut into serving-size pieces.
In a dish mix buttermilk,hot sause,mustard,and paprika. Mix well.
2In another shallow dish, mix flour,nuts,salt & pepper,and nutmeg.
In the skillet add oil heat to hot.(not smokin hot) to abought 350-360. Take fish and add to buttermilk mix,coat all sides. Dreadge fish in flour/nut mix. Add to skillet fry on each side,5-7 min. Fry in batches. Remove from pan and onto plate. I serve with hush puppys. In joy.
