Ingredients
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tablespoon hot sause
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1-2 pound catfish filets
- 1/3 cup pecans,and walnuts,ground
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- - dash paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, light
How To Make buttermilk nut catfish

Step 1YOU WILL NEED A 12" CAST IRON SKILLET. iF USING FROZEN FISH.THAAW,RINSE,AND PAT DRY.cut into serving-size pieces. In a dish mix buttermilk,hot sause,mustard,and paprika. Mix well.

Step 2In another shallow dish, mix flour,nuts,salt & pepper,and nutmeg. In the skillet add oil heat to hot.(not smokin hot) to abought 350-360. Take fish and add to buttermilk mix,coat all sides. Dreadge fish in flour/nut mix. Add to skillet fry on each side,5-7 min. Fry in batches. Remove from pan and onto plate. I serve with hush puppys. In joy.
