Broiled Trout

a search for a recipe lead me to and this recipe. I made this tonight and we loved it! Wished we had more trout for leftovers! I did alter the recipe some to our taste, and here is my version of it

16 oz
lake trout
1 stick
butter, melted
3 Tbsp
lemon juice concentrate
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
salt, cayenne pepper or cajun seasoning to taste
1 medium
onion, thinly sliced


1turn broiler on to preheat
2season trout with salt and cayenne pepper or Cajun seasoning
3mix butter, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce together
4place trout in shallow broiler pan lined with foil
5pour butter mixture over trout, broil for 5 to 7 minutes
6turn trout over with spatula and cover with onions
7broil 5 to 7 minutes longer until trout is flakey. Be careful because it will burn quickly
8remove some of the onions before serving
