1 pkg8-oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cmargarine or butter, melted
1 cfresh bread crumbs
1/8 tspfreshly ground pepper
44-oz trout fillets
How to Make Baked Trout
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place mushrooms in a 11x7" baking dish. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of the margarine; set aside.
- In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, salt and pepper; stir well.
- Dip fillets in 3 tablespoons of the margarine, then dredge in crumb mixture.
- Place fillets on top of mushrooms. Drizzle with remaining 3 tablespoons margarine. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
