We eat a lot of fish here in Louisiana. From red snapper to catfish. From the ocean to fresh water. We eat a LOT of fish here. Trout in one of the fish that my family eats a lot of. Other than catfish that is.

Ingredients
- 1 package 8-oz sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 4 - 4-oz trout fillets
How To Make baked trout

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place mushrooms in a 11x7" baking dish. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of the margarine; set aside.

Step 2In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, salt and pepper; stir well.

Step 3Dip fillets in 3 tablespoons of the margarine, then dredge in crumb mixture.

Step 4Place fillets on top of mushrooms. Drizzle with remaining 3 tablespoons margarine. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
