Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain or dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs - panko or unseasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 4 teaspoons fresh parsley, minced
  • freshly ground black pepper & salt to taste
  • 4 4-oz. salmon filets

How To Make baked salmon with honey-walnut topping

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a shallow roasting pan with parchment paper and cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl, combine melted butter, mustard, and honey - set aside. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs, nuts and parsley.
  • Step 3
    Place salmon filets in pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brush honey mixture generously over the tops and sides of each fillet. Sprinkle tops with crumb mixture - pressing into sides and top gently.
  • Step 4
    Baked 12-15 minutes - watch carefully.
