BAKED FISH AU GRATIN
1 lbfrozen fish fillets (cod, ocean perch, halibut or flounder)
2 Tbspfine cracker crumbs
1 can(s)(14 oz.) stewed tomatoes
2 Tbspchopped onion
1/8 tspblack pepper
1/4 to 1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How to Make BAKED FISH AU GRATIN
- Thaw fillets as directed on package.
- Grease a 1-qt. shallow baking dish and sprinkle with the cracker crumbs. Lay the fillets on top of crumbs.
- In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over fillets. Dot with butter and cheese.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 35 minutes, until the fish "flakes" when pierced with a fork.
