zee's easy open faced chicken cordon bleu
I started making this a couple of years ago. It was a fast way of making it and was easy to change to diet menu in case I needed it. This was an easier version and tasty from frozen versions. I hope you will try it at least once.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 large egg, a little water, to make egg wash
- 2 ounces italian bread crumbs
- 4 slices ham or turkey ham
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

Step 1Pound Chicken Breast to flatten. Dip in egg wash and then into bread crumbs with granulated Garlic.

Step 2Melt Margarine in nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook Chicken 1 minute on each side. Place in Square pan. Top each breast with a slice of ham. Pour pan drippings over Chicken.

Step 3Cover with tin foil and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and add a slice of cheese over each chicken breast. Cover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
