  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup green onions, sliced in 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound fresh snow peas
  • 1 cup walnut pieces

How To Make walnut chicken deluxe

  • Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry and ginger; add chicken pieces. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
Meanwhile, heat wok or large skillet and add 3 Tbsp. of the oil; heat until smoking. Add green onions, garlic and snow peas. Cook 3 minutes, stirring with slotted spoon. Remove mixture to a bowl.
  • Step 3
Add remaining oil to wok or skillet; heat. Add chicken. Cook, stirring, until done and soy mixture begins to coat pieces, about 5 minutes. Add walnuts and vegetable mixture. Toss until mixed. Serve with cooked rice.
