Ingredients
- 1 package taco seasoning mix, divided
- 6 - boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup plain, non-fat yogurt
- 1 - red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 - green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 - yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 large purple onion, cut into chunks
- 1 small lime zested and juiced
How To Make tex-mex chicken skewers with spicy sauce

Step 1In a large bowl combine 3 tbsp. taco seasoning mix (or less if desired), lime zest and juice and chicken; toss to coat well. Cover and chill 2 hours.

Step 2For sauce, grate garlic clove or use garlic press and combine with salt to form a smooth paste. Place in a small bowl with vegetable oil; mix well. Stir in yogurt and taco seasoning to taste . Cover and chill before serving.

Step 3Thread the chicken alternately with peppers and onion; grill over hot coals 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with Yogurt Sauce. (If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them first).
