I love to experiment with hot wing recipes and I have learned that baked wings are my choice because cleanup is normally a breeze. My daughter gave me this recipe years ago and I depend on this recipe because wings are tasty and always well received. I don't know the source of this recipe. These wings are not HOT but are well received by the men in my life. Hot tip: use a silicone mat or parchment paper any time you bake hot wings.
Ingredients
-
24chicken wings
-
1/2 cmelted butter
-
1/4 chot pepper sauce
-
3 Tbspvinegar
-
1 pkgdry ranch dip mix
-
·paprika
How to Make Tasty Ranch Hot Wings
- Separate wings into three sections. Save wing tip for making stock or broth.
- Combine butter, hot pepper sauce and vinegar. I normally use half Frank's hot sauce and half Chipotle Tabasco but use what you prefer.
- Dip chicken pieces in butter/pepper/vinegar mixture and make sure wings are moistened well with mixture.
- Place wing pieces on baking pan that has been lined with silicone mat or parchment paper. If neither is available, spray pan to prevent sticking.
- Sprinkle with dry ranch mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until juices run clear.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with paprika. (I use Penzeys Smoked Spanish Style Paprika) Enjoy!!
