Ingredients
- 3 - bone in chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 cups half & half
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup finely diced onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon or 1 tsp. dried tarragon
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- - hot cooked rice, noodles or potatoes.
How To Make tarragon chicken

Step 1Place chicken on a rack over a foil lined pan; Sprinkle with salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper.

Step 2bake at 350 for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Remove to serving platter and keep warm.

Step 3Drain drippings into a pan.

Step 4Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in sauce pan with drippings, add onions and sautee until soft.

Step 5Add in 2 Tbsp. flour, mix well with a wire whisk.

Step 6Mix cream and white wine and taragon together and pour into pan.

Step 7Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Step 8Serve with rice, noodles or potatoes.
