boneless, skinless chicken breasts
med-lrg jar salsa (about 24oz)
1 pkg
taco seasoning

How to Make Taco Chicken in the Crockpot

  • 1Place chicken in crockpot.
  • 2Combine the salsa and taco seasoning (if you have kids that don't like the "chunks" - just blend the two ingredients in the blender)
  • 3Pour over chicken and cook on low for about 5.5 hours and then shred the chicken and cook for about an hour more.
  • 4Add shredded cheese before serving, if desired.
  • 5Serve over rice, or chips or in soft tacos or enchiladas. Freezes well too.
