sweet & savory grilled chicken wings
Who doesn't like chicken wings. These lovely wings are sweet and savory. Please marinade overnight for best results. Please note that the drizzle of honey is optional.

Ingredients
- 10 chicken wings, seperated
- MARINADE
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup sherry vinegar, or drinking sherry
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon hot paprika
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper and sea salt
- GARNISHES - USE AS MANY AS YOU LIKE.
- 2 tablespoons sweet white or red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon finely zested
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
- 1 - 2 tablespoons good quality honey, drizzled, optional
How To Make sweet & savory grilled chicken wings

Step 1Into a large plastic bag add all the marinade ingredients and mix well. Taste it to see if anything needs to be adjusted. Then add in the prepared chicken wings and place in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 2Before grilling allow the chicken wings to come to room temperature and season with salt.

Step 3Grill the chicken over a medium flame until cooked to your preference.

Step 4Garnish with your personal choices and serve warm. I really like it with a little honey drizzled over my garnishes. I hope you will enjoy.
