Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb
    boneless, cubed chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c
    green pepper strips
  • 1/2 c
    red pepper strips
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 c
    low-salt soy sauce
  • 1-8-oz can(s)
    chunk pineapple in juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

    brown rice, cooked

How to Make Sweet and Sour Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook and stir chicken in 1 tb. hot olive oil in a large skillet until well browned. Add peppers; cook and stir 1-2 minutes. MIx cornstarch and soy sauce. Add to pan with pineapple and juice, vinegar, sugar and spices. Bring to a full boil. Sere over rice.
