Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound boneless, cubed chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup green pepper strips
  • 1/2 cup red pepper strips
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup low-salt soy sauce
  • 1-8-oz can chunk pineapple in juice
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - brown rice, cooked

How To Make sweet and sour chicken

  • Step 1
    Cook and stir chicken in 1 tb. hot olive oil in a large skillet until well browned. Add peppers; cook and stir 1-2 minutes. MIx cornstarch and soy sauce. Add to pan with pineapple and juice, vinegar, sugar and spices. Bring to a full boil. Sere over rice.
