stuffed cubanelle peppers
This recipe is a favorite of my daughter Natasha, I make it with ground turkey...but you can also make with ground chicken, pork or beef.

Ingredients
- 4 - cubanelle peppers
- 2 pounds ground turkey or chicken
- 1 small finely diced onion
- 2 cloves smashed garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 16 cups tomato sauce
- 8 ounces can of chopped tomatoes
- 1 sprig cilantro
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white wine
How To Make stuffed cubanelle peppers

Step 1cut peppers in half, the long way, take out seeds.

Step 2in a bowl mix together the ground turkey or chicken with the onions,garlic & salt

Step 3stuff the peppers, in a large wide pot, put the tomato sauce and half the can of chopped tomatoes & the white wine, place the peppers on top of the sauce and simmer for about an hour...basting the peppers every 15 mins with the sauce... add in chopped cilantro & parsley..
