Ingredients

  • 6 - chicken filets, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

How To Make sticky chicken

  • Step 1
    Place chicken into a ceramic dish in a single layer. Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic and five-spice powder. Pour over chicken. Turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over high heat. Add peanut oil. In frying pan, cook chicken, in batches, for 1 minute each side or until golden.
  • Step 3
    Transfer to a baking tray. Brush with marinade. Bake for 5 minutes or until just cooked through.
  • Step 4
    Brush on sweet chili sauce. Return to oven for 2 more minutes.
