so very delicious sesame chicken wings

I was going to put these on the grill, but didn't have enough room, sigh..so I baked them, which was just fine. My son in law couldn't get enough of these and even the fussy grandchildren liked them!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lower sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 - green onions, sliced, tops and all
  • 1/2 - onion, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 pounds chicken wings, you can remove tips if you want

How To Make so very delicious sesame chicken wings

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, whisk first 8 ingredients together. Add wings and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hrs, overnight is even better.
  • Step 2
    When ready to make, heat oven to 350. Set up a cooking rack inside a shallow, large baking pan or roasting pan. Remove chicken from marinade, discard marinade.
  • Step 3
    Place wings on rack and bake 30 mins. Turn wings over and continue baking 20 mins more. Sprinkle with extra sesame seeds and sliced green onions for a pretty presentation.
