Those of us who use precooked chicken and pick it up at the store will find this very useful. We have so many recipes that call for precooked chicken that I needed to find a way to save money buying it from the store, so I figured out how to do it in the Crock Pot. Love that this saves tons of money and that the chicken is so tender it falls right off the bone.

How To Make slow cooker whole chicken

1Rinse a 3 or 4 pound chicken under cold water. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.

2Roll 3 or 4 balls of aluminum foil and place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place chicken in slow cooker on top of aluminum foil. You can also place vegetables in if you wish. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and your choice of seasonings.

3Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Once done, you can easily remove the bone and dice up the chicken for any recipe.
