I just got my first crock pot, do you believe it- finally after 46 years, and this recipe sounded so good I thought to share it here.

  • 2 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken, cut into 1-in. cubes
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 3 medium
    potatoes, diced
  • 4 medium
    carrots sliced
  • 1
    stalk celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    white wine, medium

How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. Place chicken pieces in slow cooker. In a small bowl mix together the flour,salt,poultry seasoning and pepper pour over chicken, and stir to coat chicken with flour mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
