My family loves chicken and after going to a local restaurant and having chicken paprikash I knew I needed to learn to make it and add it to our regular family dinners. I hope you enjoy this as much as my family does.

Ingredients

3 Tbsp
all-purpose flour
2 lb
skinless, boneless chicken breast
1 1/4 c
chicken broth
1 c
red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c
carrot, shredded
2 Tbsp
hungarian sweet paprika
2 tsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
ground black pepper
8 oz
sliced mushrooms
1 1/4 c
sour cream
2 can(s)
refrigerated biscuits

How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Paprikash and Dumplings

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut the chicken into 1/2-inch strips and coat well in flour.
  • 2Put chicken, broth, chopped peppers, shredded carrots, Hungarian sweet paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper and sliced mushrooms in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • 3Tear biscuits and toss on top of chicken paprikash. Cover again turning up the slow cooker to high for 30 minutes.
  • 4Stir in sour cream.
  • 5Enjoy!
