A spicy Asian sauce. May be served as an appetizer. NOTE: I serve as they are out of the cooker, but if you want them crisper, line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and pour wings onto it. Broil until crispy, about 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds chicken wings (drumette sections)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon corrnstarch
  • 1-2 tablespoon sesame seeds, for serving

How To Make slow cooker asian wings

  • Step 1
    Coat the liner of a 3-4 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Place drumettes in slow cooker.
  • Step 3
    In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except sesame seeds. Mix well and pour over wings in slow cooker; stir to coat.
  • Step 4
    Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours.
  • Step 5
    Remove to a bowl or platter ans sprinkle with sesame seeds.
