Ingredients

  • 1
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 c
    fresh cranberries
  • 12
    boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water

How to Make Slow-cooked cranberry chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine onions and cranberries in a 4-quart slow-cooker. Place chicken on top. In bowl, combine next 5 ingredients. Whisk well. Pour over chicken.
  2. Cover cooker and cook on high for 1 hr. Reduce heat to low and cook 6 hrs. Transfer chicken to a platter and keep warm.
  3. In a lg measuring cup, whisk together cornstarch and water. Stir into cooker. Cook, uncovered on high for 15 mins, stirring often, until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken.
