I got the original recipe years ago from a friend and mad it lighter in calories and fat. It's very easy to make and my hubby loves it! That's good enough for me.

Ingredients
- 1 - 16 oz pkg reduced fat ritz crackers, crushed
- 1-1/2 stick melted butter
- 2 cups cooked, chopped chicken breasts
- 1 - 8 oz pkg frozen peas
- 1 can fat free cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can fat free cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup light sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How To Make simply light creamy chicken casserole

Step 1Heat oven to 325. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine crushed crackers and butter, mix well.

Step 2Set aside 1/3 cup cracker mix. Spoon remaining cracker mix into bottom of baking dish. Evenly place chicken over crackers. Sprinkle chicken w/ peas.

Step 3In another bowl, combine soups, sour cream, water, garlic, basil and pepper, mix well. Pour mix over chicken mix. Sprinkle w/ reserved cracker mix. Bake 1 hr, or until bubbly.
