Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    chicken
  • 11/2 Tbsp
    mirin, sweet cooking rice seasoning
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 3 slice
    fresh ginger - quarter size
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    sriracha. - chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    peanut oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 3 c
    cooked jasmine rice
  • MIRIN, SRIRACHA AND OYSTER SAUCE CAN BE FOUND IN MOST ANY INTERNATIONAL ISLE

How to Make Shari's Chicken Stir Fry

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut chicken into strips, mince garlic and ginger.
    Put all three in a bowl, add Mirin and stir together
    and let marinate for 10-15 minutes
  2. While chicken marinates, mix chicken broth, oyster sauce and soy sauce in a small bowl and set aside. Heat wok or large skillet over med-high heat, add peanut oil and cook chicken till no longer pink showing
  3. Add chicken broth sauce to meat and heat through.
    Dissolve corn starch in 3 tbsp cold water,
    stir into wok to thicken, remove from heat.
    Spoon over cooked rice.
