Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken
  • 11/2 tablespoons mirin, sweet cooking rice seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 slices fresh ginger - quarter size
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 tablespoon sriracha. - chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • MIRIN, SRIRACHA AND OYSTER SAUCE CAN BE FOUND IN MOST ANY INTERNATIONAL ISLE

How To Make chicken stir fry

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken into strips, mince garlic and ginger. Put all three in a bowl, add Mirin and stir together and let marinate for 10-15 minutes
  • Step 2
    While chicken marinates, mix chicken broth, oyster sauce and soy sauce in a small bowl and set aside. Heat wok or large skillet over med-high heat, add peanut oil and cook chicken till no longer pink showing
  • Step 3
    Add chicken broth sauce to meat and heat through. Dissolve corn starch in 3 tbsp cold water, stir into wok to thicken, remove from heat. Spoon over cooked rice. Smile
