Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus spears-halved
- 4 - boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil (canola or olive)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1/2 cup mayonaisse (or miracle whip)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make saucy chicken & asparagus

Step 1If desired partially cook asparagus,drain. Place asparagus in the bottom of a greased 9" square baking pan.

Step 2In a skillet,over medium heat,brown the chicken in oil on both sides.Season with salt & pepper. Arrange chicken over asparagus.

Step 3In a bowl,mix soup,mayo,lemon juice & curry powder. Pour over chicken.

Step 4Cover & bake in a preheated 375 degree oven..40 minutes or until chicken is tender and juices run clear....Sprinkle with cheese....Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
