1If your using a terra cotta (sp) garlic roasting dish soak it in water for 10 minutes before use.
preheat oven to 350
clean all lose skins off garlic
cut tops straight, put seasonings on open end of garlic bulb. put a pad of butter on top of open end of each bulb
Set bulps into roasting dish in about 1/2 inch of beef broth
bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. or until garlic is soft.
2I use this for everything! Soups, breads, enchilada sauces, pizza sauces, stews, mashed potatoes, meatloaves, It stores well in the fridge in a baggie while your using it up, it does not take me long to use these up at all! I also add all the garlic tips I cut off the tops, I just put them right in the middle of the bulbs!
