This rice pilaf is great to take to a pot luck dinner. or when you have company coming. Try this recipe I'm almost sure you will like it.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 large
    onion chopped
  • 1 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1 c
    sliced celery
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked wild rice
  • 2 (14) oz
    cans vegetable broth
  • 1 c
    long grain rice, uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley

How to Make RICE TWICE PILAF

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add onion, carrots, celery and garlic. Cook until tender
  2. Add wild rice and vegetable broth. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
  3. Add white rice. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until done. Stir in parsley
  4. TIP: Turn this recipe into a delicious main dish, add cubed chicken.
