I love this pot Pie. Its my favorite. i was bored and started cooking in my kitchen and I wanted a meal that was Home cooked and very fresh. Perfect for winter!

Ingredients

pilsbery pie crusts

carrots, chopped

handful
fresh greenbeans
1 pkg
frozen corn drained
1 pkg
frozen peas drained
1
rotesseri chicken from kroger or local grocery
1 large
onion
1 large
heavy whipping cream
1 stick
butter
3 Tbsp
flour

How to Make Renee's Chicken Pot Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1boil all veggies except frozen (put frozen in strainer with hot water over it let all drain)
    while this is going cut up chicken also put to side
  • 2to make cream put in large pan stick of butter,chopped onion, get onions soft then add heavy whipping cream, and salt & pepper to taste, add flour to thicken a bit stir do not let boil, let simmer (I add alot of pepper)
  • 3Large bowl put all veggies including frozen (half those bags)that are now all cut cubed
    add cream mix, stir
  • 4put in glass baking dish, cover with pie crusts and cook for about an hour and a half on 350.
  • 5~ Sometimes instead of grean beeans I will add fresh asparagus too
