  • 8 oz
    fettuccine pasta
  • 2
    chicken breasts
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 c
    panko crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How to Make Poached Chicken Fettuccini

Step-by-Step

  1. Poach Chicken Breasts in Chicken Stock. Bring liquid to a boil turn down heat and simmer 20 minutes or until done.
  2. Remove and Cool Chicken and cut into cubes
  3. Return Chicken Stock to a boil, add Pasta and boil 8 minutes. Strain pasta.
  4. Make Cream Sauce with butter, mushrooms, mushroom soup, cream cheese, heavy cream and garlic powder. Heat until cream cheese is melted.
  5. Add chicken and pasta
  6. Pour into greased 7x11 baking dish
  7. Mix Panko crumbs and melted butter sprinkle on pasta
  8. Bake 350 for 25 minutes
