Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    pineapples chunks
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 medium
    green or red bell pepper
  • 1 medium
    onion
  • 1/2 c
    mushroon, sliced
  • 1 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 c
    sweet and sour sauce
  • 2 c
    less sodium soy sauce
  • 2 c
    minute rice , uncooked

How to Make Pineapple Sweet and Sour Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare rice according to the package directions.
  2. Drain pineapple: reserve 2 tbsp of juice.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over med heat. Ass peppers , onon, and mushrooms: cook until vegetables are tender crisp. Remove vegetables from skillet: set aside.
  4. Cook chicken in same skillet until chicken is browned and cooked through.Add vegetable bck in skillet with sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, pineapples and reservd juice. Heat through. Serve with hot cooked rice.
