penne w/ chicken in garlic cream sauce
This is one of my husbands favorite dishes I make. The garlic cream sauce really makes this dish stand out! Calories: 470 Fat: 14 grams Carbs: 13 grams.

Ingredients
- 4 - bonelss, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces dried dreamfields penne rigate pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 large zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced.
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic in olive oil, jarred.
- 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 4 ounces light cream cheese, softened.
- 1/4 cup dried tomatoes, chopped.
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons grated romano cheese.
How To Make penne w/ chicken in garlic cream sauce

Step 1Sprinkle chicken w/ salt & pepper. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Place skillet over med-high heat. Cook chicken until no longer pink inside, about 5 min per side. Remove chicken from pan. Cook pasta, drain, keep warm. Heat oil in skillet, place over medium heat. Cook zucchini, mushrooms and garlic for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Add veggies to pasta. In small bowl, whisk together broth and flour until smooth. Add flour mix to skillet. Add cream cheese to skillet and whisk until smooth. Cook 1 min. Stir in dried tomatoes. Add mix to pasta and veggies. Sprinkle w/ parsley and cheese.
