paprika cream chicken & penne
This is a quick delicious dish that my kids just love..I make 1 1/2 times the sauce...it's so good. I hope you enjoy this tasty dish...you will be asked to make it again.. This is good served over rice also. My pictures.

Ingredients
- 6 - skinless, boneless chicken breasts. --i used 3 breasts and cut them in half
- 6 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 6 - green onions, chopped
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 - 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound penne pasta or rice ( prepared as directed on package )
- - extra green onions for garnish ( optional )
How To Make paprika cream chicken & penne

Step 1In a large skillet, brown chicken in 1 tablespoon butter and oil over medium heat. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken; keep warm.

Step 2In same skillet, saute onions until tender.

Step 3Reduce heat to medium. Add paprika and remaining butter; heat until butter is melted. Stir in cream, salt and pepper; cook and stir until sauce is thickened, about 4 minutes.

Step 4While sauce is thickening, slice chicken breasts or leave them whole. After the sauce is thickened, won't be real thick; add the chicken back to the pan and heat through.

Step 5Place the pasta on plate, place the chicken atop and spoon the delicious sauce over all. I make 1 1/2 times the sauce as we love it, and like extra on our pasta. I served mine with Broccoli, the kids even like to dip it in the sauce. Enjoy..it really is tasty!
