Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast, skinless
  • 8 tablespoons i can't believe its not butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons italian bread crumbs
  • - cooking spray

How To Make oven fried chicken breast

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    lightly coat shallow baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside. In small saucepan melt I can't believe its not butter over low heat. In shallow bowl combine melted margarine and lemon juice. In separate shallow bowl combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper, mix well. Dip each piece of chicken first in lemon mixture and then in bread crumbs, turn to coat evenly. Place chicken in baking dish and drizzle with remaining margarine. Bake 30-40 minutes or until juices run clear.
