Ingredients

  • 6 cups cooked chicken ( de-boned)
  • 2 large cans chicken broth
  • 1 - onion ( chopped)
  • 3 - stalks celery
  • 5 - carrots ( peeled & sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 - large bag of noodles
  • - salt & pepper to taste

How To Make my chicken noodle soup

  • Step 1
    In a large dutch oven, pour chicken broth, add Chopped onion, celery & carrots. Bring to boil. Turn heat down to medium, stirring occasionally , until veggies are tender.
  • Step 2
    Add cooked chicken ( de-boned)and parsley. Cooke noodles in a seperate pot.
  • Step 3
    when the soup is ready to serve, I just put the noodles in the bowl, then add the soup. Salt & pepper to taste. I have noticed when I added the noodles to the soup, over time they become mushy.
