- 1/2 pound mushrooms ; sliced
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sauterne

Step 1IN A 9" SKILLET OVER MED. HEAT IN HOT BUTTER COOK THE SLICED MUSHROOMS UNTIL TENDER , ABOUT 5 MIN. , STIRRING OCCASIONALLY .

Step 2STIR IN BEEF BROTH AND SALT AND HEAT THE MIXTURE TO BOILING.

Step 3MEANWHILE IN A CUP MIX CORNSTARCH AND SAUTERNE UNTIL SMOOTH ; GRADUALLY STIR SAUTERNE MIXTURE INTO MUSHROOM MIXTURE AND COOK , STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THICKENED.
